Come work with us! Sandbox Photographers is a woman owned school & portrait photography studio located in the East Bay. We are looking for an experienced, reliable, and organized Photo Editor/Color Corrector to join our team. At Sandbox we are committed to helping our team members grow both within the company and in their own artistic pursuits. Our photo editor will be in charge of all things photo related in the studio.

Sandbox Photographers is a local female owned photography studio right here in the East Bay. Our kid-first philosophy means that we do everything with the children's well being and safety in mind, from our kind approach to our silly jokes. Co-owners Adi & Julia are professional photographers with years of experience photographing both children and adults. Professionalism and quality are among our top priorities and are integral to the service we provide. Our mission is to bring school photography to a whole new level by combining quality photography with modern workflow solutions.
THE JOB
-
30-35 hrs per week during busy season, 10-20 hrs per week off season

Download/Organize Files
-
Cull, Crop and Color Correct jpegs & RAW files in LR
-
Maintain Backups and File Organization
-
Basic Retouching
-
Upload Images to Online Galleries
-
Work closely with owners to make sure that all projects are running on time
YOU (AKA THE IDEAL CANDIDATE)

Have at least 2 years of professional experience using Lightroom, Photoshop & Photo Mechanic (on a Mac) for culling, color correcting, organizing and retouching RAW files using the latest versions of the software

Possess an obsessive attention to detail

Have super strong organizational, problem solving, and time management skills

Are meticulous about meeting deadlines and providing consistent results

Have a suspiciously great attitude and a desire to work in a positive team environment.

Are able to clear a background check & provide proof of up to date Covid vaccination & booster (non-negotiable)

COMPENSATION
